About Tracy Fisher

Scarlet Begonia Interiors was created with the desire to assist people in creating an environment that reflects both their personality and their enjoyment of life.

 

After completing my studies of Interior Design at Harper College, my husband and I had the opportunity to build our own home.

 

What I didn’t learn in school, I learned first hand from a highly acclaimed architect, builder and a team of skilled, professional tradesmen.

 

I can assist you with your project large or small; at the “blueprint” stage working with your contractor or helping you select a new color palette or furniture pieces to add freshness to your interior.

 

I am familiar with reading a blueprint and understanding the traffic flow of a home.

 

I can visualize where a window, door and/or hallway will be before the construction begins. Understanding the traffic flow and the furniture placement before structural elements, electrical and plumbing are in place, is very beneficial to my client. I am very comfortable working in the design style that best portrays my client.

I enjoy the art of blending pieces. There is a wonderful energy created when you juxtapose a timeless piece with a contemporary piece; of balancing elegance with modern simplicity.  Color! I enjoy working with color in textiles, woods, tile, stone and wall coverings. In my trips to India and throughout Europe, I am always amazed by the use of color and color combinations. I try to filter some of my visual experiences into my work.

 

I am passionate about my work, I truly love what I do.  I enjoy working with people and finding solutions to improve their lifestyle.
