The Ultimate in Contemporary Sophistication! My client wanted a completely different style from their main home, a 2-story Tudor.

Clean lines with exceptional design was the focus behind the design and selection of furniture pieces. Cream colored sofas define the open floor plan, which is anchored by a custom silk and wool carpet. The carpet created in 3 yarn shades of red, provides a strong grounding statement, while the pillows sit playfully on the sofas. The graphic swoosh of the Japanese character is reflected in the graceful lines of the pistachio color recliner. A wonderful energy is created between the luscious pistachio colored leather and the rich complementary hues of red in the carpet. The rough texture of the fireplace stone and hearth is juxtaposed with the smooth texture of the leathers and silks. The rough-cut limestone blocks of the fireplace surround reflect the neighboring historical buildings, which the mighty city of Chicago has been built upon.
